Ben Grenda wins the seventh stage of the Tour of Tasmania, Lachlan Norris continued the overall lead
After his glorious performance during the fifth stage of the race, Ben Grenda of Team Polygon Australian continued his tremendous form to bag his second stage win at the Tour of Tasmania 2012.
The cyclist rode exceptionally well to claim the shortest stage of the race and restricted his major opponents for the second successful time.
He took a total time of 32 minutes and 9 seconds to complete the 24 kilometre race and occupied the top podium position.
Alex Wohler of Team Downunder, Scott Law of Team Search2Retain, Anthony Giacoppo of Team Genesys Wealth Advisers Professional Cycling and John Walker of Team Drapac Professional Cycling occupied the second, third, fourth and the fifth positions in the respective
order.
Blair Windsor of Team Budget Forklifts won the Aggressor award for his courageous effort during the stage 7 of the Tour of Tasmania.
Lachlan Norris of Team Drapac Professional Cycling continuous his overall dominance and is leading the stage 7 classifications with a comfortable margin of 11 seconds over Mark O’ Brien of Team Budget Forklifts.
Nathan Earle of Team Genesys Wealth Advisers Professional Cycling, Jay McCarthy of Team Jayco-Apollo-VIS and Darren Lapthorne of Team Drapac Professional Cycling claimed the third, the fourth and the fifth positions in the respective order.
Lachlan Norris of Team Drapac Professional Cycling, Nathan Earle of Team Genesys Wealth Advisers Professional, Mark O’Brien of Team Budget Forklifts, Matthew Clark of Team John West Cycling and Roman Van Uden of Team PureBlack Racing claimed the top five
spots at the Norske Skog King of the Mountains Championship.
