The 22-year-old is willing to appeal his ban from all national teams following his suspension for an unauthorized night out, while being on under-21 international duty.
Wissam Ben Yedder is seeking to appeal against his suspension from international football that took place due to an unauthorized night out in Paris with fellow teammates, while being on under-21 duty. The forward was ashamed at his actions, and regretted
them.
Following his success in the Ligue 1, where the striker has scored 9 goals this season, the Frenchman is craving some international football, but despite his current form, the player would not be able to represent France internationally till December 31,
2013, amid suspension.
The in-form striker said that he’s been considering to appeal against his ban for quite some time now, and says that he acknowledges his mistake, and is ready to face the consequences, but hopes that at least the ban could be lifted so that he has the opportunity
feature for France, sooner rather than later.
The Sarcelles-born player is willing to make amends, and is ashamed of his past behavior. He said:
“I am ready to do whatever the appeal commission wants me to in order to reduce the sanction."
Ben Yedder has been disappointed in himself following his irresponsible attitude, while apologizing to the people around him, he also said:
“I feel like I have betrayed French football, my coaches, the people who have been educating me since I was a child — my parents, my wife, my team-mates.”
The 21-year-old could also have opted to play for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Toulouse-FC-c40751 from UJA Alfortville in 2010, but it wasn’t till now that he has proved himself to be an important member of the squad.
The Toulouse striker was not the only player to receive a ban following the conduct violation. There were four other players including Antoine Griezmann, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chris-c9006 Mavinga and Mbaye Niang, who are suspended till December 13, 2013. While, Mvila has
already appealed against his ban, Ben Yedder is only the second player to do so.
Ben Yedder hopes that the committee would grant him pardon regarding his ban, and would be allowed to feature for the French national team. The prospect is keen on securing himself a starting place in the World Cup squad, and believes he can manage to achieve
with that, keeping his current form for the Toulouse-based club.
