I want to take Benadryl, but I also need to take Singulair and Symbicort. Would there be any side effects if I did this? Is it safe to mix these meds?

thanks for the help

  1. It is fine to take the three of them together, continue taking your singulair at bedtime and your daily symbicort. Just remember that Benadryl causes drowsiness so keep that in mind before doing any activities that require you to be alert

  2. I'm a nurse and I don't know.  I suggest you call the pharmacist at a 24 hour pharmacy (unless you're on Pacific time.)

I call mine all the time about drug interactions.

  3. I wouldn't think so, but check with any pharmacist and they will tell you for sure.
