  1. water is better because it doesn't have all of that sugar and stuff and its healthy  hahahaha!!!!

  2. Considering water is what your body needs, then there you go.

It has no sugar or c**p.

  3. no calories, no carbs, fats, sugars, any of that junk. flushes out toxins. keeps you hydrated.

  4. Caffeine speeds up your heart rate, as well as the effect it has on the brain. It keeps you awake by fooling your brain into opening these like little pores things to release a chemical that tricks your brain in to keeping you up(short version). Those are both facts. Water doesn't contain caffeine. Water also doesn't contain the sugar, which also isn't good in large amounts.

  5. flushes toxins outta your body

    hydrates you

    better bowel movements

    no calories

    doesnt rotten your teeth

  6. well with water u don't have a ton of sugar and artificial preservatives, its just clean water, it also digests and goes thu ur body faster to, so it speed ur metabolism a bit.

  7. Two major downsides to soda in my opinion are that it effects your bodie's absorption of calcium and it also affects your ph levels.

Here's some cut and pasted facts in relation to the negatives of soft drink consumption:

    Effects of soda:

Effects of soda: Soda has a lot of ill-effects than good-effects on our body. I have almost covered the most serious diseases caused by soda above.

To make it short and crisp,

    1. The carbonic acid in soda alters the pH of blood causing acidity.

    2. It also affects the homeostatic mechanism causing imbalance and alter's equlibrium.

    3. Most soda uses artificial sweetners which has empty calories yeids no nutritional value to the body. They are just bad carbs.

    4. Soda contains phosphorus when they are excessively consumed it hinders calcium absorption and depletes calcium from bones leading to arthritis and osteoporosis.

    5. Children who take soda are more prone to tooth decay, erosion of enamel, dental cavities and brittle bones.

    6. The balance between calcium and phosphorus plays avery important role in producing a normal heartbeat, nerve and muscle function and blood clotting.

    7. Soda also contains caffine which itself has its own undesired effects. Here, it leads to excretion of more calcium from kidneys.

    8. Soda causes other oldage diseases and degenerative diseases to attack soon which includes memory loss, loss of tooth and other diseases like diabetes, heart diseases, arthritis etc which were considered as old age problems.

    Some facts regarding water:

Supports efficient body function and metabolization.

Good for the kidneys and I'd assume the liver too.

Gets rid of fats and excess sodium in the system.

Essentially, there isn't really any negative effects of drinking water. It can only assist in making you healthier. The only issue would be hyperhydration but that is pretty extreme and not something to worry about unless you're being unreasonably zealous in your water consumption.

Take into consideration as well that water plays a large role in our body composition.

  8. Drinking to much pop can give you stomach problems like ulcers.  Water is overall healthier.

  9. There are no calories in soda

The sugar and calories plays a part in the majority of people being overweight and getting heart diseas and diabetes.

There is no caffeine in water. Caffeine dehydrates and over 300mg per day is dangerous.

There is no coloring in sodas. The darkers sodas have colorings that is really hard on the kidneys.

Water is not carbonated. This isn't normally a problem unless some of the gas gets trapped in your intenstine.

    Water is cheaper than soda.

  10. It does wonders for women and our bodies

  11. Water is best for hydration as we all know.

Most soft drinks are sweetened with High Fructose Corn Syrup. Remember HFCS is not sugar!

Since HFCS's widespread introduction in the 1980's North American obesity rates have skyrocketed. Obesity has been linked to many heath issues including heart disease and many forms of cancer. When HFCS is ingested, it travels straight to the liver which turns the sugary liquid into fat, and unlike other carbohydrates HFCS does not cause the pancreas to produce insulin.

All Sugar free drinks are poison.  I left a link on aspartame for further reading or just google up the words aspartame poisoning. It's scary.

I think I will stick with water. But if you must have flavor and taste, try adding lemon or lime with a tsp of real sugar or a little bit of honey. Real nice and refreshing too!

  12. Water quenches your thirst more the soft drinks.

  13. There is phosphoric acid in sodas. It is also in laundry detergent. Heard a program on it and I checked out the ingredients on the back of some industrial laundry detergent and wa la. Plus too much sugar in the soda.

  14. Water contains no caffeine. Your body needs water. Soda makes your teeth bad; water doesn't. Water can get you to lose weight faster than soda can because soda has an ingredient to slow down the process of losing weight, even if it's diet. Drinking too much soda can result in sickness, like UTI (Urinary Tract Infection), kidney pains, etc. Water doesn't do that. You need water!

  15. Sugar is hydroscopic, meaning it draws moisture out of whatever is around it, even the air!  By drinking soft drinks when dehydrated, you become more so as the sugar is drawing more moisture out of the system.

  16. everything that you drink goes thru your kidneys/liver to filter it, water helps remove waste and toxins from your body. When you are breathing you are breathing out water - water keeps your lungs working properly - it's a fine balance.

Your body is made up of mostly water, when you drink anything other than water it must be processed by your body, nutrition is taken out and used producing waste. This waste together with any toxins are stored in the body until they are removed by water. They are stored in your liver.. our bodies are finely tuned machines.

Another way to look at it is that everything that you drink except for water needs to be processed by your body, water is absorbed as you drink it.

Every dry skin can be attributed to not enough water...water is an essential part of our diet - there is alot of hype out there about how much you should drink per day and yes you can drink too much water too... drinking enough water helps your liver and kidneys function properly....

  17. you'll most likly lose weight.

  18. whatever half of your weight is, you should drink that much water a day.
