  1. Shin splints.

  2. Its great exercise for sure but I ended up with Bakers Cyst on my right knee cap thru too much up and down, up and down so don't  wear yourself out xx

  3. It is basically a type of resistance training it will increase your calf muscles and stamina and give you a little plyometric training the main thing is that you use it as a winter aid like running uphilll then in the athletic season run either with the wind or on a slight downhill to increase your leg speed

  4. I guess it depends how you define continuously. For the most part, running stairs is very good for your legs. You really can work the calves. However, you do put a lot of stress on your feet...mainly because you are using your toes more than normal. Therefore, running up and down stairs too much would eventually cause serious trouble. The good news, though, is that your body will tell you when you've had enough!

  5. improves your stamina and burns a lot of fat, carbo etc...improving your muscles

  6. yup, it certainly does build muscle, in your calves and all over.  it also builds up your hamstrings and gluts (firms up your booty lol ) However, instead of stair running, I would recommend running hills.  the impact is less forceful, it is easier on your joints but gives you exactly the same benefits. plus hills are prettier than boring old stairs!  best of luck!

  7. You build a lot of muscle, you also do it faster.

(for your best workout, go easier on the way down... but drive with much power on the way up.)

Also, for the best workout, have someone go on your back (your weight or less at the beginning.) I do this all the time, good luck!

  8. yes and i think it might help the quads, you can certainly feel it on your calves xxxxx

  9. You keep fit and lose weight

  10. ive heard its good for ur *** and the back of your legs

i mean, cant you feel the pressure on the back of ur legs when u climb stairs repeatedly?

especially if you take 2 stairs at a time..!
