  1. You posted this to the US board.  

    Nothing is free.  Not even state provided benefits are free.  The working person pays for it, through taxes.


  2. All I can say is I wish I had it when I was in college.  I got really sick and was in the hospital.  long story short insurance would have helped with the medical bills.  with out it I ended up having to drop out and get a full time job to pay off the debt.
