Benefits of the my us veteran grandfather but he was not able to process becausehe died?

my grand father died as a us veteran? the problem is he wasnt able to process his documents before he died? and aside from that all original documents was sent in manila but until now there was no development on his application and the only proof is that my father have an identification came from the veterans office? can he receives the benefits of my grand father? We have no original documents at hands? it losts.

  1. What benefits are you talking about? If you mean US citizenship, the answer is no. Your grandfather would have had to personally take care of that with the Consulate when living, if you mean some social benefits from the U.S., again the answer is no. These are not passed on from father to son.
