  1. I remember watching an interview with her on CNN the same day as Ahmandinejad's (sp) speak at Columbia.  I sincerely couldn't understand why she would return.  She, like everyone else, certainly had to know she would die.  Being that so much controversy surrounds her, there is a good chance that her death will serve no purpose at all.  I'm curious to see if it will myself.

  2. Benazir Bhutto was brave to face the danger of politics in Pakistan even when she does not have enough protection leading to her assassination.

  3. Benezir Bhutto is still alive in Pakistani people's hearts. I'm proud of her what she did for Pakistan and its people. May god bless her. Her memories will always stay in our hearts.

  4. Bhutto is a martyr.  Unfortunately, not so much for a democratic Pakistan but unwittingly for the New World Order.  Watch for her assassination to be blamed on an Iranian.

  5. Immensely courageous.  She was on the brink of pushing the standing government into power-sharing and a semblance of democracy.  What purpose her death?  Only time will tell.

  6. Courageous to come back to Pakistan. The purpose may be to galvanize us policy toward democracy or a federation. We  could give good advice for once. We could listen to the need of the people. We could act selfless as a society.

  7. Immensely courageous!  I was very concerned about her when she returned to Pakistan.  In October, when there was an attempt to kill her, it was clear that she was in more danger than I thought.

I don't know what purpose her death will serve but to me and I was hoping she would succeed with everything she wanted to accomplish.

Benazir Bhutto personifies courage and there aren't a lot of people who have come close to the level of courage that she had.

  8. none watso ever to the public but will do loads for the people who killed her....

i think the Pakistani president and America has some interest in the death of Bhutto

  9. Someone asked here yesterday "What politician in our country would be willing to die for what they believe in?" I couldn't really think of any. Ms. Bhutto was willing to do that. She believed in Pakistan, and was willing to risk her life for her country.

  10. Her murder is a Harram, an offense against the Koran. It is forbidden to murder a Muslim woman as a political act. Within the next few months I believe you will see a groundswell of support within the Islamic Umma to rid the world, once and for all, of the Hirabah who continue to fight sinful war in the name of God. There is a credible report by a foreign journalist that Ayam Al Zawahiri ordered the murder of Mrs. Bhutto. If true, Al Queda and the rest of the Hirabah may have signed their own death sentences.

  11. All the Pakistan mourned the sad demise of BB. Yet one should not forget she was a politician too. Her death has created huge vacuum in Pakistan politics. She was not an angel. Like other politicians in Pakistan she was not scandal free. She was always compromising when she got a clue that a certain move would bring her to power. She conveniently forgot the murder of her father and compromised with the military. She again compromised with General Musharraf when he decided to grant pardon to her in various fraud cases when he brought NRO (National Reconciliation Ordinance). She came to Pakistan under a deal brokered by President Bush and the plan was to appoint her Prime Minister while Musharraf to stay as President. She was so sure of assurance given by President Bush that she hardly expected Musharraf to get her killed and she was not afraid of Taliban  because she was of the firm belief that Taliban do not attack womenfolk. Yet the inevitable happened. Who did it and why it was done will be answered in the times to come but her death made the people of Pakistan really sad even those who never subscribed to her policies. May her soul rest in peace.

  12. She was full of Courage. On a Mission to change her Country ,open it up adjust it to the 21 Century make it more stable.

She knew it would be very hard to do so.

To me she was a very brave ,intelligent Woman, in a Country were many Women have no Rights at all.She gave her Life for the Freedom and Justice and Peace not only for Pakistan but for many Countries around the Globe.

She deserved    even only in Memories the Next Nobel Price of Peace

    Greetings

    and Happy ,Peaceful New Year

  13. She was an educated woman who knew exactly what could happen when she returned to pakistan. It takes incredible courage to see your fate and still walk toward it.

  14. As with Ghandi and King.....more powerful dead than alive.
