Agent of Vasco da Gama’s Dede claims that Portuguese giants Benfica are interested in obtaining the services of his client, alongside Genoa and Paris Saint-Germain.
The defender has become hot property in Brazilian football following some scintillating displays for club and country. The 23-year-old joined http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vasco-da-Gama-c40872 back in 2009 and was drafted into the first team after a series of injuries to key personnel.
He managed to convince the team to acquire his signature on a permanent basis and has since then become a firm fan favourite. A sweeper with the ability to score goals, his displays have not gone unnoticed and he has been capped by the Selecao as well.
This in turn has alerted a plethora of sides to his talents and the likes of Genoa, Paris Saint-Germain and Benfica are reported to be monitoring his progress.
However it seems that the Portuguese giants are the ones who are most keen on signing him and also had an offer rejected during the summer. But that did not spur their interest and the player himself also commented that he wasn’t going to Lisbon, as he wanted

While it was believed that the transfer would not go through now, Dede’s agent has revealed that several sides are still keeping tabs on his client.
"At that time some teams have contacted me. Benfica, PSG and other clubs. And the player was in Genoa in December and they had also asked for information.”

“As for Juventus there are just rumours.”
