Bengaluru to Kukke?

Hi guys,

My friend is planning a trip to Kukke during this week and like to know which route is good. Please help via Hassan is a better option or via Madikeri. We don't know the condition of the roads recently.

Both roads are bad...but Hassan is a better bet....there was some work goin on so it shud be better now...there is also train service to kukke now...find out..nice place to be,...hav fun..

The nearest railway station is Subramanya Road railway station is at 7 km from Kukke Subramanya.

From Bangalore to Kukke the best road would be via Hassan , Shakleshpur, Shiradi and the check post route is shorter, but not sure if it is open .

But the other road which leads to Dharmastala will take you to Kukkee subramanya.

Last time when I took this route the roads were too bad.

Dear Shiva,

Since Shiradi Ghat road is under repair, I suggest you to visit Kukke via Coorg.
