Benidorm and the weather forecast?

I am due to go to Benidorm for a week tomorrow but looking at the forecast, I wonder if I should stay in the UK?

I'm going to alicante a week later, its not far from benidorm... whats the weather like there? I'm hoping sun?

I live in Jave (Xabia) which is approximately 45 minutes drive North from Benidorm.  Today, it is 28c in the sun right now.  The nights can get a bit chilly though.  I have just checked the BBC weather for Javea for the next 5 days as follows :

Wednesday 18c sunny intervals (it is actually 28c in the sun)

Thursday, 12c, sunny intervals

Friday, 15c, thundery showers

Saturday, 15c, thundery showers

Sunday, 15c, sunny intervals.

If you visit the BBC weather website and type in Javea, that should give you a fair idea of what you can expect the weather to be like.  It changes daily, so it is only a rough idea.  The air here is really warm and I am actually in shorts and a short sleeved top.  Hope this has been helpful.  Enjoy your stay.

No matter what the forecast, your weather on the Spanish mainland will be better than the UK!
