  1. Really depends where you live. FM-LA FAMILY MEDICAL LEAVE ACT. CAN be used up to a year in the state of California. I also take care of my son. Surveys say that house husbands die earlier too, just something to think about.

  2. In the U.S. you're not. You won't even be entitled to unemployment compensation, since you're leaving your job voluntarily.

If you're in the U.K., the situation might be different.

  3. what kind of bennys are you talking about?

  4. yes if it's more that 50 Km

  5. hi you will get some benefits depends on your wife's wage and if work come up for you who will look after your child my sister stopped working about a year ago but her husband has his own window cleaning bis thy get £500 form tax credits hope this helps you

  6. Because you gave your job up voluntarily, you have to wait 6 weeks for any dole money. You may be able to claim social for your wife and child only, but you have to give a statement which the manager of the dept. will read and decide if you are entitled to any Social or not. In the meantime you must sign on as unemployed for your National Insurance stamps to be credited to you.

  7. In the US, you are not entitled to benefits simply because you've decided to become a fulltime dad. But, you are entitled to congratulations for putting the welfare of your little one ahead of other considerations!
