I know that water has many physical as well as mental benefits, but I'm wondering if drinking liquids that contain alot of water such as cordial, and juice give the same result? Also, if anyone has any tips on how to get someone who doesnt drink plain water, to drink it, that would be greatly appreciated ^_^

  1. yeah they are still good for you with the cordial but not as good as plain water as your body has to get rid of the e numbers in the cordial.

Plain water will clan your kidneys out and generally be good for you, any fruit juices, although they are good for you, contain large amounts of natural sugar, too much of which is bad for you, not to mention your teeth!

If you get others to realise the health benefits of drinking water, then appeal to their better nature.

  2. I hate Plain water ... I use the sugar-free Crystal Light or Lipton Tea flavored water packets ... My 2 year old also drinks it (he doesn't get the whole packet) just enough to taste and it gets him to drink water at a young age ... I asked my doctor about it because I started the addiction when I was pregnant and they said it's great water is water no matter the flavor packet you put in ...

  3. No- keep to water preferably mountain spring water. So many "cordial and juice drinks" contain poisons and heading that list is coca cola, which was originally made from cocaine and cola, and when that was banned,  business greed resorted to other poisons.

  4. ok cordial and juice hav water in it but drinking plain water is so much healthier for u also cordial and water r very hi in sugar. Cordial especially also has artificial colours and preservatives and all the bad stuff that u dont need. and as for the tips             its simple    if u only drink cordial and juice more than plain water   u will probably have dentures at the age of 40   youll spend way more money and youll die sooner   (True Facts)      because u NEED water

  5. hi

Water is a common chemical substance that is essential for the survival of all known forms of life. In typical usage, water refers only to its liquid form or state, but the substance also has a solid state, ice, and a gaseous state, water vapor. About 1.460 petatonnes (Pt) of water covers 71% of the Earth's surface, mostly in oceans and other large water bodies, with 1.6% of water below ground in aquifers and 0.001% in the air as vapor, clouds (formed of solid and liquid water particles suspended in air), and precipitation.[1] Saltwater oceans hold 97% of surface water, glaciers and polar ice caps 2.4%, and other land surface water such as rivers, lakes and ponds 0.6%. Some of the Earth's water is contained within water towers, biological bodies, manufactured products, and food stores. Other water is trapped in ice caps, glaciers, aquifers, or in lakes, sometimes providing fresh water for life on land.

Water moves continually through a cycle of evaporation or transpiration (evapotranspiration), precipitation, and runoff, usually reaching the sea. Winds carry water vapor over land at the same rate as runoff into the sea, about 36 Tt per year. Over land, evaporation and transpiration contribute another 71 Tt per year to the precipitation of 107 Tt per year over land. Clean, fresh drinking water is essential to human and other life. However, in many parts of the world - especially developing countries - there is a water crisis, and it is estimated that by 2025 more than half of the world population will be facing water-based vulnerability.[2] Water plays an important role in the world economy, as it functions as a solvent for a wide variety of chemical substances and facilitates industrial cooling and transportation. Approximately 70% of freshwater is consumed by agriculture.[3]

and cordial is an extremely sweet non-alcoholic fruit flavoured drink concentrate that is diluted with water to taste. It is most popular in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.

  6. Adding a slice of lemon, or some lemon or lime juice may improve the taste. If these don't work and you are desperate then maybe have half a glass of OJ, and fill the rest with water.

Cordial and juice might contain water, but they also have a lot of sugar. You need about 8 glasses of water a day, so if you substitute that with juice or cordial, then that's a lot of sugar. Better to just have water really :)
