Chelsea’s newly appointed manager, Rafa Benitez has gone on to state that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-c13609 Torres’ prime form is now behind him, and that it is up to the striker to try and rediscover it if he can.
The Blues paid a massive fifty million pounds for the services of Torres, but following his move to the club, the striker has failed to fire like he did for the Reds.
This past weekend, Torres was in the Chelsea side that took on Manchester City. However, the player failed to prove his worth in the game, and he even failed to fire a single shot on target during the whole game.
Torres, who is now twenty eight years old, had managed to score only nineteen goals in eighty eight appearances for Chelsea since his move to the club. This dip in form has seen him lose his place in the starting eleven of the Spanish national team, and
should he continue to perform so poorly, he could also lose a spot in the starting eleven at the Stamford Bridge.
Benitez, when talking about Torres and his form for the Blues is reported to have said: "It [Torres' form] is not the same now as when he was at his maximum but I think he can come back"

"How close? I don't know. It depends on the rest of the team. I think he can improve but the team has to help him."

"The first thing is to give him some confidence; give him instructions of what he can do in a different way to improve him and the rest of the team a little bit physically.”
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 are now looking to take on Fulham later on in the day. Going into the game the team will be looking to end their win-less run, which currently stands in at five games.
In order for the team to win, Benitez is going to have to get all his tactics right in the game, and hope for his key players, including http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Torres-c13707 to perform.
Should that fail to happen, Chelsea could go six games without winning a game.
