Chelsea manager Rafa Benitez is expecting a tough test from Swansea City in the Capital One Cup semi-finals after his team defeated Leeds last night and went through for the next stages.
The Blues marched on to the last four of the Capital One Cup after defeating Leeds United in an emphatic and impressive 1-5 victory at Elland Road. Swansea had beaten Middlesbrough in a 1-0 score line to book their place in the next round, and both teams
are set to face each other next.
The interim Spanish manager was delighted by his team’s performance and believes that they are improving with every passing game. Chelsea had gone down a goal in the first half, but came back with reckless intent in the second half as they scored 5 goals
and completely dismantled Leeds.
Juan Mata scored the opening goal for the visitors, which paved the way for a http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 riot. Leeds had tried getting back into the game, and had their moments, but their finishing let them down, and they never really worked Chelsea.

However, the manager is not taking their next game in the competition lightly, and expects a tough test against Swansea City.
Speaking to reporters he said:
“Swansea are a good team and we have to do well in a semi-final or any competition. They like to play football, on the floor and it will be interesting. Every competition is important for us and a top side like us has to win every competition.”
Midfielder Juan Mata, who was the centre of Chelsea’s attack last night, also hailed the team’s performance and was delighted with the victory. He said:
“I think it’s tough to play here against a team like Leeds. Coming back to London on Monday and then playing Wednesday, maybe that isn’t enough time to rest, but I think in the second half we showed the desire to win this trophy.”
