Chelsea’s manager, Rafa Benitez has gone on to admit that he is quite happy with the improvement that his side has shown over the last couple of days, as he feels their eight goals to nil win over Aston Villa was a great display of the team’s intent.

The Blues recently went on to lose out in the finals of the Club World Cup, and since then the team’s fans have questioning the club and their will to win things.
With them winning their game last night in such a convincing manner, it seems like the fans may finally be starting to believe in the team once again.
Chelsea are sitting twelve points behind the league leaders at this point in time, but with them having a game in hand, and their form going through the roof, things seem to be going in the direction that the Blues would have wanted.
"You can see the team improving," Benitez told reporters. "With this type of performance, we will try to be as close as possible [to the title].”

"To win is always special but the main thing is to see the team progressing and improving. Every training session we adjust little things and you can see the team growing.”

"The players were really focused from day one. They have been trying to learn and improve. I think you can see the team is really concentrated, with belief and confidence in themselves.”

"Now we have to sustain this run, keep winning games and then it will be easier for me to send the message across that we can compete."
Benitez, who came in mid season to take over the team seems to have gotten some of the players to tick together.
He has somehow managed to get http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Torres-c13707 to start scoring again, and the team seems to be rather happy under his management.
Despite him having been brought in against the will of the fans, they might finally be starting to see the light over his appointment.
It is now a wait to see just how Benitez and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 do over the coming months.
