Chelsea manager Rafael Benitez insists that he is under no pressure from club owner Roman Abramovich, and has denied reports linking the club with an advisory role for former manager Avram Grant.
The manager believes that he has seen enough from his new team to convince him that they can recover from their slump and bounce back. He also denied reports that claim former manager Avram Grant may be on his way to Stamford Bridge to take on an advisory role with the club.

The European Champions are currently risking elimination from the competition if Juventus lose their group game against Shakhtar tonight. This will be the first time a defending champion will have been knocked out of the competition in the group stages of the competition.
Benitez has failed to win any of his first three games in charge of the club, and faces a difficult task ahead of him. The manager’s appointment did not sit too well with the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 faithful, and he has been unable to warm himself up to them.
Chelsea’s progression in the competition depends on the Shakhtar vs. Juventus game, and they will be anxiously keeping an eye on the result.
Their form in the Premier League has also been very poor recently, especially considering the number of big names players they have in the squad. Many say that Benitez is under a lot of pressure to deliver, but the 52-year old insists this is not the case. He maintains that he enjoys a good relationship with Abramovich and has his full support. The Spaniard said:
“I spent a lot of time with him in the last 10 days. After the defeat to West Ham, people were talking to him. We spoke and said the first half was so good. We then made a mistake and we have to find solutions.”
“The team looks stronger in defence, but we have to analyse the problem we have. We have to manage better against teams that are strong physically. There are positive but there are things that we can improve. And I’m talking about facts.”
