Chelsea’s manager, Rafa Benitez feels that his team failed to perform up to expectations in front of goal in the game against Reading, and that is what ended up costing the team all three points from their game.
The Blues took a two goals to nil lead in the game, but despite both Juan Mata and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 allowed Adam Le Fondre to find the back of the net twice, which saw the team go
on and draw the game with the Blues.
Benitez is thoroughly disappointed and surprised with the way the game went, given the fact that his team were in the hot seat and controlling the flow of things for eight five minutes of the game.
“We are surprised because we were controlling the game for 85 minutes,” Benitez told reporters.

“For the last free kick we made too many mistakes in one situation where we were doing well for 85 minutes. We had chances to kill the game; we didn’t take them and we paid for it.”
“The main thing is we could have scored three or four goals and finished the game. We can say that we have to be more clinical.”
The Blues conceded the second goal in the last minute of stoppage time, as they failed to clear their lines from another set piece. The team looked unable to deal with Reading and their set pieces which is rather surprising given how lethal the Blues usually
are from a dead ball going forward and at the back.
“We have to be aware of these mistakes defending set-pieces,” he added.

“But I was really pleased with the players; for 85 minutes they were doing a great http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684. But these things make a difference. We could have two more points.”

“We’re still in a very good position in the table but it could be even better.”
The Blues boss will now be looking to get his team to get their act together, because if they keep playing this way, they could drop out of the top four in the near future.
