Benitez’s future clouded by uncertainty
Reports are coming in that Rafael Benitez has been dismissed from his position as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan manager although there is no official statement by either of the two parties involved. It was widely believed that Benitez’s days at the club were numbered following
his attack on Inter president Massimo Moratti. Rafael Benitez has been under constant pressure since joining the Italian club in the summer. Benitez had the unenviable task of succeeding Jose Mourinho at the helm. Under Mourinho, Inter Milan won the Champions
League, the Serie A and the Coppa Italia in a single season. Six months on from Benitez’s appointment, Inter sit in 7th position in the league and look extremely unlikely to repeat last season’s heroics.
Things were looking bright for Rafael Benitez recently. He led the club to a FIFA Club World Cup title last week, seemingly taking some of the pressure off himself. But Benitez got himself into trouble just minutes after Inter’s historic win. In the post
match conference, the outspoken manager poured out months of pent-up frustration in a verbal attack aimed at Inter president Massimo Moratti. In his outburst, the Spaniard issued an ultimatum to the club owner, telling Moratti to either back him or sack him.
Recent reports suggest that the Inter president has chosen the latter option and has relieved Benitez of his post.
Rafael Benitez has been known to talk himself into trouble in the past. During his final months at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Tom-c35214 Hicks. The war of words ultimately culminated in Benitez leaving
the English club and joining Inter Milan in the summer. From his previous experience, Benitez should have realized the risk of publicly speaking out against his employers.

Leonardo will be taking over at the helm. The club is set to confirm Rafael Benitez’s dismissal later today.
