Benjamin Watson or Vernon Davis in Week 1?

Watson plays the Kansas City Chiefs

Davis plays the Arizona Cardinals

Watson has Tom Brady but Davis has a lot more talent and more upside. What would you do?

I think I would go with Davis.  I think he had a better year statistically than Watson.  Also, Brady doesnt throw to his TEs often and generally hits his WRs on a short route or RBs in the open field.  Davis should be the way to go especially since they are playing the Cards.

I would go Davis Week 1. I think Davis will be a good TE no matter what QB throws to him. Watson will be at least the third option in NE behind Moss and Welker. He could even be behind Gaffney and Jackson. Both defenses are weak, so they're both cancel each other out.

tuffy i would have to say watson just because davis can have his off days but watson will always get you at least 10 points (if receptions count as points)
