Bennigan's and Steak& Ale?

How old do you have to be to work at either of those restaurants?

The corporate entity for Bennigans and Steak & Ale went into bankruptcy and out of business about 3 weeks ago.  All corporate stores closed.  Some franchises remain, although nobody knows for how long they will be able to continue under those names.  If you want to work for long, I wouldnt suggest there.

That being said, I think they hire for some positions starting at age 16 (such as hostess).  You have to be older for other jobs, such as bar tending.

I believe 16 to 18.

Well they both serve alcohol so its most likely 18.

Not only did they just go out of business, they broke the law by not informing their employees six months in advance. The Steak & Ale here was informed THAT DAY.

I know Texas Roadhouse has a deal to take their gift cards and exchange them for a free entree. I don't know if they'll take any of the old Bennigan's or Steak&Ale restaraunts employees, though.

My suggestion, if you want a job, is to start at McDonalds or something like that.
