Benq S41 power suppl ''short"?

Question

Thanks for your suggestion but I've tried the adapter connections and all is OK. The green light blinks regularly and I assumed that this indicates an overload. The problem occurred while I was using the laptop - there was a click from the area of the power supply unit (top left) and all went dead.Any more suggestions welcome.Don Barrett (Ilkley)
