Benreigner Eurorack mixer question/unbalanced or balanced.?

I have the mixer listed above. On the mic input there is an xlr input, but also a 1/4" regular trs jack. The 1/4" says balanced or unbalanced. If i use a 1/4" instead of the xlr for a mic will it still mix loud enough? thanks, Tim

You should be fine either way.  You need to adjust the small black k**b (labeled "GAIN") below the input connector so that you are getting a good signal into the channel.  It is better to use a XLR mic and the XLR jack on the mixer though.  The XLR mic input is designed for professional XLR microphones.

Your owners manual will explain level setting.  That is one of the most important things you need to know to get good sound out of your mixer.  Each input should be adjusted individually using the "PFL" button and the output meter.
