The Bianconeri director general believes that the refereeing decisions against Napoli were fair and deserved, and do not undermine their victory against the Coppa Italia winners.
Beppe Marotta has voiced his agreement to the refereeing decisions that compromised Napoli in Italian Super Cup, and believes that with six pair of eyes on the field, the players’ actions could not have been judged better.
The Serie A Champions triumphed over the Coppa Italian winners in the recent Italian Super Cup match played in China’s famous Bird’s Nest stadium.

Moreover, the protests also saw Walter Mazzarri receive suspension, which along with that of the two sent-off players will be valid for their first Serie A clash of the new season.
Marotta was adamant that Juventus won a fair game, and insisted that the presence of six referees in the match means that the players and their wrongful actions were well watched.
The Bianconeri director general was doubtful about the decision to award the penalty to his team, but maintained that all the other punishments were well deserved by the Partenopei.
While talking to the press, the 57-year-old said:
“I think it was a valid victory. The match was refereed by six officials, so there couldn’t be more eyes on the field. My only doubt is with the penalty, but other than that the decisions seemed perfectly fair.”
Marotta was also asked about the big signing that Juventus have been looking around for in the summer transfer window.
The Bianconeri transfer chief was adamant that the Old Lady still have numerous quality players, but maintained that they are still looking for a top talent in the transfer market.
“The definition ‘top player’ is vague. For example, how would we describe http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sebastian-Giovinco-c32724? We are looking at the market, but this squad deservedly won the Scudetto and the
Super Cup.”
