Manchester United striker and Bulgarian international, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dimitar-Berbatov-c11254 is set to leave Old Trafford at the end of the season.
Over the course of the last few seasons, Berbatov has gone on to win just about everyone over with his natural goal scoring ability and want to score goals.
However, despite the forward putting in some very impressive displays last season, he just couldn’t break into the first team this term.
As a result, many expected him to part ways with the club and leave at the end of the current Premier League season.
The striker’s representative has now gone on to confirm these rumours and has stated that the striker is going to be on his way out of the club in the summers.
Berbatov’s representative is quoted to have said: "I had three meetings with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson"
"We should accept that he'll try to build a team for the next three or four years and Berbatov will not be part of this team.”
"Ferguson wants to change the playing style, to implement more speed"
"I was pleased with United's position as they said they'll not oppose Berbatov's move in the summer."
At the moment, there are no teams that have shown a clear interest in rendering the services of the forward.
However, Berbatov is not going to settle for just any team and is going to be looking to move to a club that is going to help him fight for a cause of some sort.
The Bulgarian international’s agent, when talking about his future prospects is quoted to have said: "Dimitar will most probably leave http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/United-Arab-Emirates-c3033 or championships like these."
It is rather surprising to see Berbatov fall so far down the pecking order in the span of just once season.
Not so long ago, the striker was being hailed as the saviour for the team and it seems like no one really wants him to stick around any longer.
Nonetheless, it is now up to the player to decide just where he wants to continue playing his football, since sticking around at Old Trafford just doesn’t seem like an option any more.
