The pair looked in great touch in a match that lasted for only 1 hour and 20 minutes. Breaking the serve at regular intervals, Berdych/Mayer looked to attack right from the start of the match. Teaming up brilliantly, they saved
few certain points against them. Holding on to most of their service games, Berdych/Mayer established complete control over the contest.

the match. Both players served amazingly well as they hit an impressive 63 per cent combined first serves.
Playing with big heart under pressure, Berdych/Mayer handled the crucial moments really well. Both pairs broke each other regularly in the opening set as some highly competitive tennis was observes. After several breaks of serve
were exchanged, the set entered a very gripping phase with the game score tied at 5-5. Breaking the serve for the third time, the unseeded pair earned a tricky 6-5 lead, serving for the set. The pair held on to their next service game with four straight points
to take 1-0 set score lead.

match. With two more breaks of serve, Berdych/Mayer closed out the match in straight sets to move ahead at the Association of Tennis Professionals tournament.
