Deportivo La Coruna are set to face a sixth-placed Levante side in next week’s La Liga round of fixtures.

The match will be played under some real controversy as Levante have recently invited a lot of criticism and have been crucified for their aggressive and physical playing nature.

The unceremonious incidents did not end there, as further controversy surrounded former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pepe-c29670.
Pepe had allegedly mocked the Levante players after the match and hence invited the wrath of Navarro in the tunnel. The two players were forced to be separated by stewards and police and several post-match scuffles were reported.
Amid all the ill talk surrounding the mid-table La Liga side, Bergantinos refuted talk that Levante play dirty. He admitted that these sorts of things are more common and heard when teams play stronger sides such as Real Madrid and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604, while also
confessing that Levante have strong players and commit more fouls than others.
The Deportivo player also stated that Navarro might have caught http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ronaldo-c31734 in the eye by mistake and labelled the incident as fortuitous.
“Navarro's action may have been fortuitous. I don't think Levante are a dirty team. Yes they commit more fouls than others and are strong, but I don't think they're dirty.”, said the Deportivo midfielder.
The Deportivo player also admitted that histeam will do everything to get a decent result against Levante at the Riazor. He also notified that the team’s main motive is to avoid relegation this season, given the financial problems they are facing currently.
Bergantinos also heaped praise on the club’s supporters for the efforts they put in to drive their team.
“If we are doing well and can keep the team in the Primera, then it is easier to solve the problems of the club. It is important to win at home against a tough opponent and psychologically it is important to see ourselves out of the relegation zone.”
A win for Deportivo will see them climb out of the relegation zone and it would certainly ease the psychological pressure that the manager and the players are currently facing.
