  1. Beth is right about the hippie's hanging around since the 60's, but the university wants to demolish the site where the tree's are located to make way for a state of the art sports facility and recreation workout area.

I really don't know what's the holdup, but I would just tell them we need to use this area to plant weed for a new state of the cannabis center and I'm willing to bet they would get the h**l out of there. LOL

  2. It shows that some people really have nothing to do.  Question I have, is who is supporting these idiots.

  3. It's all because the university wants to build a new sports complex and that specific grove of trees are in the way but those leftist liberal extremists just wanted to start trouble by occupying those trees in order to try stopping the development of that building.

It just escapes me why some mentally disturbed individuals want to waste the taxpayers money, especially in that case and they all want to fight everyone that tries to evict them out of the trees and then throw their excrement at those who disagree with their protest.

Their protest is basically them trespassing on UC property.

  4. There's some hippie dippies living in the trees, and the university has been trying for months to get them to leave.  It's posed some health hazards (like, they dump their waste on the ground), and I believe the university also wanted to cut the trees down for some reason.  It's a strange situation.
