Berks County, PA Trains Whistling and Blowing Horns???

I am moving to Berks County, PA and I am wondering if someone can PLEASE tell me the towns where the train blows the whistle? I know Robesonia and that's the only one! Thanks!

  1. Trains sound their horns at all crossings. I grew up in Lancaster.


  2. Look at a street map, if you see tracks crossing roads, it is required to blow the whistle, federal law.

    There are  some crossings that whistles are NOT required but they are not very common, usually in places where the trains move slowly and the crossing gates have to be constructed in a way that cars can't go around the arms.

  3. I dont think that any electric trains will blow whistles so your blown unless they're any deisel trains in the area. Deisel trains will blow whistles and your rite about the town you've mentioned.

    Maybe if you find towns that link to that rail line too then those will be deisel probably. So they will blow whistles.
