Berkshire overcome Cumberland by 58 runs: MCCA Trophy - Semi-Final
Berkshire defeated Cumberland by 58 runs in a semi-final match of the MCCA Trophy, at the Falkland Cricket Club Ground, Wash Common, Newbury in England on Sunday, July 3, 2011.
The hosts batted first and posted 300 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their allotted 50 overs. Miles went onto make 75 runs from 74 balls with the help of 12 boundaries, but his effort went in vain, as the middle-order failed miserably. Apart from Miles, there was no other batsman in the Cumberland innings, who even managed to reach thirties.
