  1. Hopkins

  2. Hagler vs Hearns comes to mind.  Hagler's ability to switch from southpaw to orthodox and his power would expose Hopkins, the way Sergundo Mercado knocked Hopkins down twice in their first title meeting.  Hopkins had difficulty against southpaw Jones and, of course, lost.

In his prime Hagler was a skilled counterpuncher and could set a furious pace.  Bernard's style would make him as vulnerable as Alan Minter.

This is a case of an orthodox fighter moving forward against a fighter with a devastating and disciplined body attack, who habitually shattered strong and powerful fighters such as "The Beast" Mugabi.  The key to this fight is that Hopkins was bothered by the unorthodox Jones and almost kayoed by Mercado.

11th round TKO.  Hopkins starts well but fades under the pressure that crushed a more powerful puncher: Tommy Hearns.

  3. Hagler would have won by decision.
