Young prodigy, Bernard, has been asked by his Brazilian team member to opt for a team in Germany instead of joining English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur.

in the summer transfer window and has been a top priority signing for Spurs head coach, Andre Villas-Boas.
"I talked a bit with Bernard and I explained the philosophy of this country. He is a talented boy who will adapt to Germany," the former Borussia Monchengladbach star player was quoted as saying in an interview.

Dante echoed his sentiments that Bernard does not have the physical strength of other players but possesses talent that will do him good at the Black Yellows. His style of play is similar to that of the BVB.
