Jupp Heynckes’ Bavarian giants will face a tough task as they take on Real Madrid in the last four of the UEFA Champions League. The German side defeated Olympique Marseille in the quarter-final of the competition with a 4-0 aggregate,
winning each of the two legs with a 2-0 margin.
Schuster claimed that Real Madrid, a club that he has previously managed, are certainly the favourites to progress through to the final. He insisted that Madrid have the quality and are very strong defensively as compared to Bayern
Munich.
The former Barcelona and Real Madrid player added that the pairing of Sergio Ramos and Pepe are definitely better than Jerome Boateng and Holger Badstuber. He admitted that it will be very difficult for Bayern to compete with the
Spanish giants and is confident that his former side will win.
