Why is Bernie Ecclestone such an as* hole.

Always slating the British GP ! Has he ever looked at other GP,s that are much poorer than the British GP ?

Or perhaps is it more MONEY he is after ?

You would would think he has had enough good forture in his life ,plenty money ,goodlooking misses(god knows why)

and still has hair.

Do you think he is just looking after his own self ?

  1. What is so great about Silverstone then?

OK, it's not the worst course but it is Force India compared with some of the them!

Yes money is a factor but then so is the fact that it's now a dated track!  Look at Singapore, Turkey or China.  Tracks that are what the public want.

You have to update or lose it.  Too many tracks now are not what is required of F1.

  2. he wants full control of silverstone but the BRDC wont let him. its sour grapes the poison dwarf should s*d off

  3. is that his own hair?

  4. As somebody that has worked in F1 here are a few observations: Worst hotels of the year: British GP. Worst food of the year: British GP Only GP of the year where the press stay Sunday night because the traffic is so bad there is no gaurentee of making the airport: British GP Second worse facillities of the year: British GP (After Monaco, which is not a permanent track) Most expensive race to visit: British GP (my experience, which is a few years out of date) Only F1 race not backed by the government of the country: British GP.

Bernie has a point. Please explain how any racing or working experience could be worse than the British model.

  5. Robb i couldn't disagree more, the only thing worse than the damage done to up grade tracks (i.e. all the new safety chicanes at Monaco, monza, Spain, imola and the list goes on) the the are the c**p tracks they have been building in the last decade, they have no character or soul, yes the tracks facilities need to be up graded, parking and access roads as well as modern garages but aside from resurfacing and drainage issues leave these tracks alone,

as for Bernie, he holds all the cards, so he can extort all he wants from anyone, Bernie and f1 can live with out silverstone, but silverstone will hurt with out F1, don't believe me? ask tony George

  6. well all i can say is money is very powerful to the mind sometimes !

  7. Along with the French Gp, we hold a pretty special place in Formula one in particular and motor sport in general. We are frankly being shamed by the spangly new tracks popping up in the middle of nowhere. Although Bernie has been threatening Silvestone for the past decade, he is loathed to scrap it even though we know there would be 10 races to jump into 'our' slot.

I would love to see Silvestone looking shinier than a new pin (and remove some of the chicanes!) tell the loaded short@rse to bugger off!!!

    SAVE THE BRITISH GP!!!!

  8. It's not just the circuit, it's the way they run it. Ecclestone wants lots and lots of 6 stars hotels arround the circuit and he wants them to make lots of money like other events, he claims that in order to do that they need a 'real promoter.' He wanted to buy the circuit himself so he could develop it but Damon Hill refused to grant him that. He doesn't 'hate' Silverstone, he's ashamed that his home GP has one of the least modern circuits compared to new GP's like the one in Turkey. Even Brazil resurfaced their bumps and revamped their installations as Bernie requested, and he renewed their contract.

But as I said it's not just the installations, it's the profit that they make. F1 is going through a financial crisis, they need money not just fans unfortunately.

  9. Men like Ecclestone never have enough money.

  10. He's made more money than he could spend in his lifetime and that of his kids. I really think he should think more of the fans. without us there would be no formula 1. I really think he should retire. It can't be that much fun for his family if he is always working.

Silverstone is working towards an upgrade, so hopefully that will keep him quiet for a while. I must admit he was right in demanding facilities are renewed, the toilets in the garages are more than minging!!!!

  11. Did you just figure that out!? It's not just the British GP that's under threat. Eccelstone's a business man not an F1 supporter.
