Bernie Ecclestone set to marry his Brazilian girlfriend – Formula 1 news
Bernie Ecclestone, the chief executive of Formula 1 is set to marry again with his Brazilian girlfriend, Fabiana Flosi.
Ecclestone has married twice before this as he knotted with Ivy Bamford back in the 1950s and then in 1985 married Slavica Radic, Croatian model. However, he divorced his second wife in 2009 and asserted that he will not get married again and will stay single
for the rest of his life.
Conversely, it seems that 81-year-old has started feeling lonely and has changed his mind about remaining single for his remaining life as he has announced about his engagement with Flosi who had worked on the marketing of Brazilian GP and is currently working
as a lawyer. He also said that they are very happy with each other.
“We are officially engaged and it is not going to be a long engagement either,” he said. “We are so happy and it's just a case of when we get married, not if, though we haven't fixed a time or place yet.”
In addition, he said that they have been together for the last two years and get along well while he said that Flosi is lucky to have him in her life.
“We get on enormously well. We have been together for two years and what makes it work is that Fabiana has a really good sense of humour and when you live with me you need to have a sense of humour. Though I must say I am absolutely no trouble at home and
I think she is lucky to have me.”
It will be important to mention that Ecclestone has faced many criticisms on his controversial statements concerning the female gender as he once said that women should dress up in white like all the other domestic appliances. Nonetheless, he apologized
for this afterwards.
Besides, in 2000, he said that women can never outshine in F1 while saying that they could only carry away the boys. He also said that he would like to find a dark girl with amazing looks, and it appears that he has found one.
