Bersheda Phantom to take command in the RGOA Members Trophy Race on 29th February at Romford
The Grade A4 RGOA Members Trophy Race is to be held on Wednesday, 29th February at Romford over 400 metres flat. The six hounds who are participating today will race for the £112 prize money.
Bersheda Phantom, Black Shaw’s two-year-old black son out of b***h Beat Them Millie, has made five starts during the new season. Out of those, he has missed two and won the rest.
He won the Grade A4 400 metres race at Romford on 14th January by clocking the track distance in 24.84 seconds, leading by 5 ¾ lengths. The 5/2 favourite of the race, Adamant Alex, finished the race sixth.
After denting the 2012 record with a fifth position, Bersheda Phantom won a Grade A5 400 metres race on 4th February at Romford. He was the 7/2 collective favourite for the race along with Bonville Zak, Millwards Cassie and Tesstastic. They got
positioned third, fifth and sixth.
Bersheda Phantom took charge of the track 4 ¼ lengths before the wire and raced through the wire in 24.95 seconds.
His most recent race was on 16th February at Romford, Grade A4 400 metres that he won in 24.83 seconds while in lead of 1 ¾ lengths. The 11/4 favourite of the race, Char Dan finished the race in the end.
Bersheda Phantom is up for his sixth start of the season and fourth victory in today’s race. In case he goes through the wire before any of the other hounds does then he will qualify for a hat trick.
Alrita Ribbon, Elites State’s five-year-old black and white daughter out of b***h Have It On, cracked into the 2012 season on 9th January and since then has recorded a victory after staying winless in six races.
She won a Grade A4 400 metres race at Romford on 22nd February. Alrita Ribbon was through the track distance in 24.68 seconds leading by a mere neck’s difference and setting Strattons Josie into the second slot.
The 5/2 favourite of the race, Feora Fred clocked the track distance in 24.96 seconds and finished the race third.
She has the chances of being at least placed in the race today provided she does not let go off the performance that she out on lately.
