I have fair skin (not porcelain though!) dark hair and hazel eyes, I dress more on the darker side with blacks, browns, grays and sometimes white, no REAL color… I am extremely makeup and color-coordination illiterate, please help me choose a lip color from Burt’s Bees that would be best for me

Here are the Burt’s Bees colors:

  1. Since you wear neutral colors why don't you get something that will pop? Maybe like the Merlot. If you want something more neutral and lighter, then maybe the Rhubarb.

  2. Guava or watermelon, Rhubarb seems like a universal color and champagne is clear. Those are all everyday colors for fair skin.

  3. Radiance matches with everything :D!

  4. Definetly ruhbarb because it would make your skin look lighter and your lips stand out.

  5. It depends on the shape and size of your lips. If you have full lips, a darker color like merlot or nutmeg will look amazing on you. However, if you have thinner lips, using dark colors will just make them look even thinner and you'll end up looking sort of clownish. My lips are kind of medium, not thin, but not super full, either. I use Rhubarb and find it to be just right on me. It's a good color that doesn't look too extreme but adds some color at the same time. It's probably a safe bet for just about any type of lip.

Also, I'd stay away from the brown tones. Since you have pale skin, it will make you look dead. My sister is extremely fair skinned, and brown tones just make her look lifeless. Stick to reds and pinks. :)

Hope that helps, and good luck!
