Chelsea’s Ryan Bertrand is looking forward to the coming season and has admitted that he would like to make more first team appearances for the Blues.
The youngster was part of the Great Britain team, which was aiming to win gold in the competition, but unfortunately the team lost out to South Korea in the quarter finals. The team lost via a penalty shoot out.

“It's been a very good summer, playing in the Olympics was an amazing experience and now I'm looking forward to the season, which starts very soon," Bertrand told the club's official website.

The team is set to start their Premier League campaign this month, with their first match taking place against Wigan. It isn’t confirmed if Bertrand will feature for the team in that game, but he has insisted that he is completely fit and willing to play at any point in the season.
