  8. 1. Leads to bad eating habits:

The rapid invasion of fast-food chain restaurants encourages the growing trend of fast-food consumption. As a result, it makes it difficult for communities to adapt a lifestyle of healthy eating...e.g. in schools.  Children are in danger of being ill-educated on the right things to eat. In the past, eating out used to be a luxury, and now it is becoming the norm. The average home gets fast-food takeout at least 3-4 times a week.

If one grows up with a lifestyle of eating quick and convenient foods without learning how to cook meals, then one will become reliant on these fast food restaruants

    2. Employment:

Statistics show that most of the individuals who work in the fast food chain does not have a college diploma or interest in pursuing one. This is due to the fact that one is not needed to have a diploma to work in a fast food restaurant. They employ teenagers unskilled adults at minimum wage and for long hours.

    3. Agricultural Impact:

The ingredients in the fast food restaurants are usually processed or chemically induced. They are not natural - so agricultural or farming businesses loose a significant portion of potential customers.

    4. Animal cruelty

Fast food chains have a high demand of meat. As a result, deals are made to large slaughter houses/corporations.

    5. Loss of revenue to small businesses.

Due to the large demand of items such as animal products and the need of quick supply to match the rapid consumption, fast food chains tend to do businesses with only large corporations. As a result, smaller businesses are crowded out.

    Thats 5....hope it helps!
