There is no other scientific theory that is accepted now. Once, Fred Hoyle's Continuous Creation or Steady State theory was a viable rival, but the evidence gathered since then favors the Big Bang. I have a book called "The Oscillating Universe" that presents some variations of the Big Bang. One is that there are cycles of big bangs and big crunches, i.e. when the universe expands to a certain point, it contracts into a primeval atom again. Then, it explodes again. A variation of that is the "Damped Oscillating Universe" that says each successive big bang is smaller than the one before it, so that there will eventually be no more Big Bangs. These are not different theories, as someone said, but they are just variations of the Big Bang, and it is the only game in town. Creation myths are not theories at all, for there is no evidence to support any of them.

big bang is the top theory, and it seems to be "correct" so far. with the very limited data about it that is. (correct as in it seems to be the most likely explanation at this point in time.)

i'm actually reading a book called "theism, atheism, and big bang cosmology" and it's a collection of essay-formed debates between a theist viewpoint and an atheist viewpoint regarding the formation of the universe. i'm like 130 pages in and it's all been about actual infinities versus potential infinities and it's a bit confusing at times, but it seems to generally support the idea of big bang cosmology (the big bang theory) and it presents evidence to disprove the other theories. it's also got a reference to Hawking's "quantum cosmology." but so far it's an interesting read, so head to your library and get it.
