the prius is bad for the environemt. the batteries are shipped from so many places it adds up to more emmision than the car will ever save. the batteries die and harm landfills b.c of all the battery acid.a regular fuel efficent gas powered car is better for the environment. i suggest the chevy cobalt 36 mpg
