  1. I've never known that Japanese traditional diet included whale meat. It's as "traditional" to them as curry is for the English.


  2. its sad that the japanese are hunting whales predominantly

    for their blubber.

  3. On the other hand as I heard, they are also carrying out some researches on increasing the population of whales.

  4. a) To supply specialty restaurants with whale meat

    b) So they don't forget how

    c) Whale meat was a source of protein in Japanese diets during war time.  Maybe they're planning for another war?
