  1. One of the things we did was rented a jeep and took a self tour to the wild east side of the island. Very different and awesome place to get some wonderful photos. They have some very interesting bars on that side of the island.

Mescalito's, great seafood and a cold beer. Coconuts Bar sits on top of the highest cliffs of the island.

The only safe place to really take a swim on that side is Chen Rio beach and it also has a restaurant. The east side has surf and riptides, be careful.

You can rent a scooter for 30 dollars or a jeep for 40/50 dollars.

Cozumel is one of the prettiest islands in the Caribbean.

Enjoy and don't forget the camera)

  2. i went last year and i also did horse back ridding through the jungle. ($60 a person)

here is a good tip if your a beer drinker and have an all inclusive package....leave a couple of bucks in the fridge the maid will hook you up.

i left a $5 and when i returned the fridge was packed with beer and a six pack outside the fridge. the maids will work for you, since they only make 3/4 dollars an hour.

    good luck and have fun.

  3. warriors is right

  4. When you arrived to the airport they give you a guide of what to do, if not, you can visit the places arround Cozumel like: Cancun, Playa del Carmen(The 5th avenue is great), go to Xcaret (A beautiful and amazing watter aussment park), Isla Mujeres.

Have a lot of fun, I'm mexican and i just love go there, the mexican caribbean is incredible.

By the way Chichen Itza is a truly wonder

  5. what kind of stupid question is that?

it is ******* Cozumel, you can drink all you want, get drunk, Gamble and score some prostitutes

  6. Hi,

I would like to suggest that you spent at least one night at the Mayaland resort at the Chichen Itza site. You will have the best time seeing the ruins. The night show explains the building of El Castillo and the serpent's twice a year appearance on the Pyramid. You can take public transportation from Cancun. The downtown bus station will get you there and back.

For activities on Coz, Para Sailing, Jet-ski, Kayak around some of the Mangroves, ride a horse, rent a jeep and spend one or two days touring the backside of Cozumel, Punta Sur Lighthouse and visit the museum, visit the museum in San Miguel for the history of the island. One spot that is a must is Coconut's on the Hill, on the backside of Coz, its a little bar and restaurant. A tour to Punta Norte on the inside part of the island will take you to a spot that will allow you to barter with local boat owners to take you to one of the Isla da la Pasi'on islands that you can explore.

Try the night life at Senor Frogs, Carlos'N Charlies, Neptuno, Hard Rock, and a couple of Sport's Bars downtown...

NOTE: One thing to keep in mind is the cost of using plastic, all the Mexican banks charge a 5% fee for using credit cards. Bring Travels Checks and cash.

    Have Fun....
