Besides getting an agent, What is needed to become a child performer?

My little sister, is a phenomenal dancer, and she really wants to get out there and dance in shows, music videos, and on television. She is nine years old and I really want to make her dreams happen. Any suggestions??? Much apprecieated!

  1. Well if she is as good as you say she is she has the talent.

    She needs-

    - confidence: you can't be a star with low self esteem

    - drive: even if you have talent you have to want to be a star so bad that you would be willing to sacrifice anything to reach that point.

    - opportunity: start signing her up for dance competitions and things like america's got talent.

    - support: being a child star means your parents will have to travel a lot with her and probably homeschool her

    - funds: the traveling gets expensive fast

  3. She needs to be unafraid of failure and rejection and quite confident. Has she ever tried out for stuff like Britain/America's Got Talent? Maybe that would help her take the first step.
