Besides global warming, what other things are going to happen in the next fifty years on earth?

Everything except global warming-maybe a point by point answer.Things are changing fast globally- I was just wondering what directions changes would take.Will it be fantastic,the same, or mediocre or horrible?Your best guess or forecast, please.

China will have an armed forces of equal size, sophistication, and deadliness as America's.  And they will have used it by then.  Taiwan will be owned by china, and since china will be armed to the teeth, neither america nor anyone else will do anything about it.  But it won't matter by then, because china will have been meddling in japan, india, south korea, and everyone else in asia.

They will also take over the internet, so you won't be able to go online without seeing chinese propaganda.

Google will not exist.

Yahoo will not exist.

No american car company will exist.

The US dollar will be on par with the mexican peso.

Indeed, the entire Western Hemisphere will be insignificant.  The eastern hemisphere, dominated by a bloated china will be where the action is. Europe will be stronger relative to america, but they will also be under the thumb of china.

I don't believe in global warming the earth has been the coolest it has been in a long time and it is a natural environmental change. Sorry but AL Gore has you all under a fake state of thinking about global warming. the earth went from hot dinosaur land to icy,cold, and now back to warm. So if the earth is changing i would think it is a phase in the earths life.

Overpopulation will begin to exert pressure on available resources.  This will inevitably drive costs up for necessary goods and services.  This will start a competitive drive for access and retention of resources.  Costs will continue to rise while currency will continue to decline.  There will be more war over the control of those resources.  I think you get the picture.

If global warming does cause the oceans to rise as they say they will, there will be millions of square miles less land to feed the billions of people on the planet, so over population will cause even worse problems and millions of people will starve to death. Even petroleum rich countries will run short of oil. That will mean the oil sheiks' power will disappear. Oil will be rationed with farmers getting a big share. Others will walk or bicycle to work. Urban sprawl will have to be cut short out of necessity. Perhaps we will pollute ourselves to death and the aliens in the UFOs will observe a blue planet that will be ruled by insects and one celled plants and animals and the whole evolution thing can start again.

And, an animated cartoon character will win American Idol.

Global warming isn't a certainty.  Reduced sunspot activity in the last year has actually reduced temperatures significantly.  

  

Communications will change much more, which will affect commerce greatly.  The Internet will become the hub of commerce, with Mom and Pop stores leaving the scene.

  

PCs will fade out and be replaced by other means of accessing information and communicating.

  

OMG - the English language will fade to resemble the terms used in Texting anf IMing.    Other written languages may suffer the same fate.

  

Many businesses and people will go 'paperless' and store all of their records online.  

Politicians will get crookeder.  It's always possible.

  

I'll have grey hair.  

Medicine will incorporate technology inside people to track health conditions and warn of major problems before they occur.  The capability is there now, but the politics and economics aren't clear.

Walmart will not be the biggest reatiler in the world any more.

Microsoft won't own the software market any longer.

  

India's population will surpass China's.

  

Solar power will become more prevalent.

Racial lines will blur - with the mixing of races.

Yahoo will be acquired by someone.

America is going to come to a downfall and the money situation there is going to be just as bad as Mexico.

This is due to the fact that they employ such cheap labor and white Americans are moving back to Europe due to the fact that they can no longer make a decent enough wage to support a family.
