Besides special wetsuit shampoo, what can I use to wash my wetsuit?

For example, what kind of cleaner that I already have (detergent, shampoo, soap, etc) is acceptable to use on neoprene?

I've never heard of wetsuit shampoo? I only soak it in water for 3 min.

i only use water from the hose!!!

Usually fresh water works fine.

When I was "totally" into surfing and my suit got dirty,  I would hand-wash it in warm water and maybe a teaspoon of dish-washing detergent. Let it soak for 20 minutes after you "lather" it up. Make sure you rinse it well.

That seemed to work fine, and I had my suit for many, many, years. Good luck!

why don't you wash your wetsuit with Laundry soap. & hang it out to dry!
