Besides talking to the principal and others, what would be my 1st step in starting a high school radio station

Question

I know I would need to find a room in the school to broadcast from, a teacher to supervise, a permit from the FCC, a frequency tower...I'm not sure where to start...

I think before you do that you should definitely come up with subjects for the show, sounds easy huh, well what if something changes last minute. Also, try practicing on a Podcast Station like Gcast.com .........I have one and I thought i sounded great but i also notice things that I said which might annoy people, Example: Umm...., LIKE, and so..!

Yeah, definitely practice, come up with things to say like a day or hours b4 hand. Sometimes it looks like you wrote about 30 mins of things to talk about but its really like ten.
