Besides the fishing net why are amazon pink dolphins endangered?

  1. possibly being hunted or being eaten by an animal with a bigger population.


  2. Habitat destruction contributes to the reduction in numbers of these river dolphins, as well as outright poaching.  They are also inadvertently caught and drowned in fishing nets and gill nets, and their habitat is becoming polluted by industrialization in the Amazon River basin.

  3. Destruction of habitat, loss of food sources and poaching of the dolphins.

  4. they are probably just extremely rare, in that, they weren't ever really numerous
