  1. gives you something to do that's worthwhile and keeps you out of trouble.


  2. Humans need a sense of worth - a reason they are on the planet.  That's why (a lot of) babies are born, also.

  3. Nobody want's to admit it but you need the lows with the highs or else the highs won't feel so good.  Yeah, work sucks.  But it drives you to overcome.  Basically the qualities that you forget but need to survive.

  4. If  I don't work I have to stay in a house with somebody that It is becoming hard to look at. I need to get away from the situation.

    Depends on the type of work you do though.

  6. Working at a good job gives people satisfaction, enjoyment, feel productive, feel like they can contribute, be a part of something. Often, you make friends at work.

    But, working at a bad job gives you stress, despair, hopelessness, depression.

  7. Gives a sense of acomplishment. And if you love what you're doing, you will be happy, and you won't get bored. Also, depending on what you do, you might be changing the world. It also gives yourself a sense of discipline, and teaches you to try your hardest and earn your way in life.
