Yep agree with language ! Without communication we would still be living in caves !

Am not sure if you could call that an invention though because it was part of the nature of human beings to start with otherwise it would have never been "discovered" like some kind of any invention.

So shall I say .......the written word instead ?? That is what made the world go round, develop, exchange ideas and so forth.

um i would have to say the telephone.

just because it allows people to contact each other even if they are 5000 miles away and they can communicate in a matter of seconds.
